Find the puzzle that is blocking your group

Big Walk puzzles are built around teamwork, timing and communication. Start with the clue you can see, choose the route area, then open the quick solution when your group is ready.

Choose the area you can see

The order below follows the island's major routes, but individual tower rewards can be handled in different orders after the Map Room opens.

01

Opening route

The first challenges teach the basic Big Walk pattern: split up, describe what one player can see, then bring the result back to a shared mechanism.

02

Red Tower

These five challenge rooms release the objects needed at the Red Tower terminal and lead toward the Map Room.

03

Tower routes

Once the Map Room is open, use the active tower and transport route to decide where to go next. The groups below are organized by area rather than a fixed reward order.

04

Late game & purple challenges

The late-game route rewards careful communication. Finish the main tower work first, then use the purple checklist to track the seven endgame challenges.

Quick solutions

Open the exact steps when you need them

Each solution keeps the important team roles, the main action and the success signal together so you can keep playing without reading a long walkthrough.

Starting area

Drawbridge / Red Bridge

Team rolesSplit into searchers and one player who manages the central key machine.
What to doComplete the four nearby object puzzles, return each released object to its matching slot, then follow the marked key cutters before using the shaped key at the bridge lock.
Success signalThe key fits and the red bridge lowers, opening the next part of the island.
Near the opening bridge

Blue Room Pegboard

Team rolesOne player reads the five symbols inside; another handles the five slots outside.
What to doCall the symbols in a fixed order from left to right. Find the matching wooden pieces and place them into the outside pegboard in exactly that order.
Success signalThe mechanism accepts the arrangement and the room releases its gourd-shaped reward.

Yellow Maze

Team rolesUse one runner and one teammate at the handoff point. Add a third player as a route caller when available.
What to doStart the wind-up timer, carry it through the maze and pass it through the opening when the route requires another player. Place it in the receiver before the timer expires.
Success signalThe timer reaches the green receiver and the Red Tower object becomes available.
Red Tower objective

Mountain Gesture

Team rolesA spotter reads the distant pose while the rest of the team moves to the matching platforms.
What to doUse the elevated view to identify the pose or gesture card. Call the position clearly, place players on the matching pads and hold the gesture together.
Success signalThe mountain mechanism confirms the pose and releases the next Red Tower object.
South of the main route

4166 / 1899 Coordinate Puzzle

Team rolesOne player reads the map and another searches the coordinate intersection.
What to doTreat 4166 as the side scale and 1899 as the bottom scale. Find their intersection, search behind the nearby rocks and hold the remote button while the teammate opens the box.
Success signalThe remote activates and the locked box can be opened.
Around map coordinate 34,12

Direction Microphone Puzzle

Team rolesOne listener stays with the sound clue while a runner moves between the microphones.
What to doListen for the active direction, call it using a landmark or compass direction, then have the runner press the matching microphone. Repeat until the progress bar fills.
Success signalThe green progress bar completes and the sound sequence is accepted.

Team notes

The same four habits solve many puzzles

Big Walk rewards clear communication more than fast button pressing.

Assign the callerKeep one player with the clue and let that person give short, consistent instructions.
Use landmarksColors, towers, bridges and map coordinates are easier to understand than left and right.
Prepare before timersPlace every player at the next handoff point before starting a timed object or route.
Confirm the resultWatch for the light, sound, opened door or released object before moving on.

Purple challenges

Save the endgame checklist for last

There are seven purple challenges on the ridge. Treat them as a separate completion route after the main tower work, not as another colored tower branch.
